Now Hiring - Investment Analyst

Emko Capital is hiring an Investment Analyst to help in all phases of the investment process. This is an awesome role for someone with 2-5 years of investment banking or consulting experience who wants to get into PE.

A little about us:

-We are 100% focused on old-school, industrial and manufacturing businesses. If you want to work on high-tech, high-flying, next-facebook deals, that’s not us. =(

-If you love making stuff, complicated machines (Tesla!), things that move (airplanes, trains, cars), you will love what we invest in =)

-We are business owners first and foremost, PE people a distant second. What does that mean? Business owners treat sellers, employees, customers, team members with respect. We focus on growing great businesses for the long term. The PE deal, is just a means to get there. We want folks who are interested in more than just the spreadsheet but want to get into the nitty gritty of building a company. If that describes you, please apply!

A little about you (if we had to sketch out what an ideal candidate looks like, this is it):

-2-5 years of IB / consulting experience. PE experience preferred but not required

-Posses unique ability to connect with production team members and then can open up her/his computer and crank out A-grade analysis

-Entrepreneur. We see ourselves as a startup business. Though we’ve been at this for 4 years and have been doing well, as Jeff Bezos says, every day is Day 1, and we really strive to build Emko into a great firm. We want someone who gets excited about being the 4th team member in a growing firm
